  • What is Congo4Tomorrow?
Congo4Tomorrow is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (non-governmental organization or NGO) founded in 2016 by a group of Congolese individuals living in the United States and the United Kingdom. It was created for the sole purpose of helping schools with very low resources/funding by providing more supplies and learning tools and restoring infrastructures to facilitate the learning process. The organization was founded on the simple principle that the bright future of a nation resides in the hands of a well-educated population.
  • What is your vision?
Our vision is to empower the leaders of tomorrow by providing them with innovative educational tools and improving the learning environment in order to facilitate the learning process and help them become well-rounded, creative professionals.
  • What is your mission?
Our mission is to “Improve Education One School at a Time''. Congo4Tomorrow aims at helping restore the level of learning and education in underfunded schools through an updated school system that can compete with the best. For more information about us, visit www.congo4tomorrow.org/about_us.
  • How is Congo4Tomorrow organized?
Congo4Tomorrow’s operations are led by different programs that focus on the empowerment and skill development of teachers, children and the improvement of the school environment (which includes the children’s families).
  • How do you decide what schools to work with?
The main criteria for selection are a) being a low-income public school lacking the financial means or resources to provide students and teachers with an adequate learning environment AND b) lacking the resources or adequate aid to provide sufficiently developed infrastructures to allow the school community to flourish. We support our partner schools until they become autonomous thus aligning with our mission to support them one school at a time. You can join our cause and help improve the daily lives of our partner school communities by making a donation towards our different projects and campaigns or by joining our team.
  • What projects are you currently working on?
All of our programs work on specific short-term and long-term projects and campaigns. Starting in the 2021-2022 school year we will focus on the following: a) providing trainings for the teachers through our Didactic & Innovation program which will help launch our Réseau DidactiK (Didactic Network) project, b) helping rehabilitating the infrastructures of partner schools through the Community Development program and c) plan the launch of our extracurricular activities for our students through the Youth Development Program. You can help us achieve our objectives by joining our team or by making a generous donation. Please follow us on our social media networks to stay updated on all our news in real-time. We are active on Facebook, Linkedin, and Instagram. You can find more information on the impact of our past projects on our annual impact reports webpage.
  • What have you accomplished since Congo4Tomorrow was founded?
We remain aware of the accountability we must demonstrate towards the public, including our donors, the communities we serve and our partners. A snapshot of our impact is available on our website homepage. For more details on what we have accomplished so far to make an impact on our communities over the past 3 years, please visit our annual impact reports webpage.
  • How can I help?

Volunteer: You can volunteer actively during our events or activities or become an ambassador of Congo4Tomorrow. 2. Donate: You can make a one-time or monthly tax-deductible donation to help us complete our projects. Our EIN number is 81-4411803. 3. If you’d like to join us to work together towards our mission and combine our efforts for the benefit of our communities, please fill out a partnership request form or contact us at info@congo4tomorrow.org.
  • How do I sign up to become a volunteer?
You can sign up to volunteer by filling out our volunteer interest form.
  • How can I sponsor a child throughout his or her studies?
Student sponsoring is one of our long-term projects. However, we do not yet have a student sponsorship program in place. If you wish to contribute to improving the learning conditions of a student, you can do so for his or her whole class by making a donation and specifying in the comment box the number of children you would like to sponsor. Please specify in the comment box of the donation form that your donation must be used towards sponsoring a child’s studies. You can add additional details such as the child’s grade level. Your entire contribution will be used to provide school supplies to one child or more based on the details you provide. Please note that given that our sponsorship program is not yet well established, to protect the child’s identity, only the grade level information and the school will be provided to you on our impact report cards. The child’s identifying information will be provided to you only with written parental consent and in the future after our sponsorship program is established. Based on the amount donated, the school supplies may be covered for one or more school years. Please visit our donation page on our website to see the different ways donations can be utilized. A second option is to contact us directly at sponsors@congo4tomorrow.org to make your sponsorship inquiry.
